Variety in Fitnesstraining
by John Harris Fitness
Diversity enriches, especially in fitness training. People are no longer satisfied with ordinary training on equipment. Body and mind should be addressed, trained and enriched in a variety of ways. The gym becomes a place of time-out and the offer should be as diverse as possible. It should promote physical and mental fitness at the same time, offer exertion and relaxation.
For John Harris, this attitude is anything but new. For many years now, we have been offering our customers much more than just fitness training, from nutritional advice to massages and saunas. You can choose from a wide range of traditional and modern courses or work out on your own. This way you will find a comprehensive concept for your personal well-being and physical fitness.
Train strength and endurance at the same time
We all have little time and want to train as efficiently as possible and experience as much as possible in this little time. For this reason, combination courses of strength and endurance training are becoming more and more popular. It is often a combination of several sports, this way you get the positive effects from several divisions. "Total body", for example, is a workout that combines strength training and endurance training. With "John Harris HIIT" you train your whole body in just 30 minutes. We can also recommend circuit training.
If you want to do something for your body and mind at the same time, Yogalates is the perfect program. Our wide range of yoga variations ensures that even yoga slackers can find the right offer. Just give it a try.
Training and relaxation
For us, tension and relaxation clearly belong together. After your workout you can relax with a massage, in the sauna or in the pool. If you go to a gym just for the workout, then you are missing a crucial factor to the perfect training experience and that is the cool down and relax program. With a sauna or a massage you can also improve your training results and reduce muscle soreness. What exactly you do after a workout is up to you and experts will be happy to advise you.
The training experience from start to finish
You start your workout with a warm up. For this you can either choose a light cardio workout or start your training exercises at a lower intensity and then increase them as soon as you are warm.
After that you start your workout properly. Whether in a group or alone, you decide whether you prefer to train individual body parts or the whole body.
After the workout you should not forget the cool down. For example, you can use a yoga session to cool down and focus on your mind and body. After the workout, take a shower first and let your body come down slowly. Then, 30 minutes after your workout, a sauna session is relaxing and even performance-enhancing for athletes. A massage after training can also loosen and relax your muscles. So you go home fit and relaxed after your workout.
Variety in training is the key
In order to generate lasting success, variety should not be missing from your workout. If it becomes too monotonous, you will lose motivation. Your muscles and your cardiovascular system get used to the same movements and intensities and the training success is missing. Every 6-8 weeks you should set new stimuli for your muscles. This will keep your muscles and mind happy.
Variety in fitness training will help you achieve long-term goals and enjoy the workout. Be creative and make your gym visit an experience!
